Stupid Stork Vlog Challenge

Ok, so this is a little silly, and I don't think anyone who knows me will want to watch this whole thing.  Or anyone else, necessarily.   But, basically, I've been becoming more active in the world of infertility blogging, and this video is a challenge that was issued by Stupid Stork.  I am doing it because it is really nice for me to see the faces and hear the voices of the women whose journeys I am following, so I wanted to give them that opportunity with me.  It really is a lovely and amazing thing - the support one can get from strangers who are in the midst of similar struggles.  Between that and the support of family and friends, I can't help but feel incredibly lucky, even through the hardest of times.

Speaking of... I do have another update coming in the next 24 hours in terms of how I'm feeling and what is actually going on with me.

But for now, embarrassing video ahoy!

  2. 1. Team basement virginity!

    2. Literally everyone is marrying Steve Martin! Amazing. His head should feel nice and plump.

    3. The Sahara? WHAT?! I am impressed. I would fall off the camel 5 seconds in and face plant in the sand. FACT.

    4. Sweet merciful crap! So many people missing out on Harry Potter! Read the first book. Read. the first. book.

    5. You are adorable.

  3. Um. High school swimming pool that we snuck into during a summer night. On the cement. Yeah. I would have taken basement over that.

And I think I would've married Steve Martin as well. But I would've F'd Chevy and killed Martin Short.

  4. I'm new to the blogging community of infertility. We've had two failed IUIs and I'm about to finish my BCP on the 31st then start the injections. We live in San Jose and we're doing our IVF at Kaiser Fremont due to their success rates for my age group, 37 turning 38 this November. I don't really talk to friends and family about our process but rather speak to strangers who are going through it. I just don't want my friends to feel uncomfortable especially when my best friend just had a baby four months ago. I don't think it's her job to make myself feel better nor do I want to take anything from her being a new parent. Anyway, I appreciate you for being so candid and I'm glad I've stumbled on to your blog. I have a lot to read this weekend.
